    The other "Lucy" tripped over her own feet yesterday and has a nice swollen ankle -- doh...pretty sure nothing is broke so waiting for a picture. Just a big case of yep...you are a dumb ass you finally get vertical and trip over your own feet again...lol off to do rehab with mom...her health insurance has deemed her well enough to go home -- lol ...

    I second Karen...details please Addie! Our house has a revolving door...dinner is somewhere between 630 and 730..whether it's me cooking (630) or hubs when I'm down or out (730)...whomever is home gets it fresh...all else have a plate waiting for them to re-heat.

    Pizza last night was the best yet -- even the men liked! Used cauliflower, cream cheese and an egg for the crust - yum. I'm in the kitchen early as I needed a break from fighting with Mom's insurance companies -- not really fighting -- it's just the process. Anyhoo, thought I'd roll out some enchiladas and bake something yummy while watching the delayed...

    Oh to be a fly on the wall of that elevator Dinner tonight is Paleo Pizza with fresh basil, garlic, asparagus, green onion and mozzarella...not really sure what the men are having! Teasing -- Hubs making dinner for him and one son -- other has rotten cold so I made him a nice big bowl of turkey broth, broccoli, dakota squash and pork chop soup.

    Dinner tonight was at the ballpark for Padre home opener. Son had a dog, I had encore chicken. There may have been cheetos and brownies...throwback padre colored snacks are tradition for my kids. We lost...but had a blast...hung until top of the eighth...decided to beat the crowd on the trolley as son is hoping train for his sis's in northern California...

    Still envy your carrots....need to plant the rainbow seeds I purchased last year. My upstate NY Uncle Jack is back in the hospital and cousins think this time is different as in may be time -- wonderful corn farmer and better man -- is 92, but never easy to watch those we love suffer.     This is fantastic news Addie .... keep up the walks! I am so very happy it went well. I'm not worried about Laura...I am certain she is fine...but likely having a bit harder time in the hospital than you. She'll be back online very soon -- right, Laura? Love and hugs to you both : )

    Irish made me snort -- it wasn't pretty -- was shacking on baby cucs with cilantro garlic (heavy garlic) sauce -- ouch!!! "I'm down about 6 organs at this point and apparently, I don't need them. lol"

    I was a post-op barfer too -- really didn't work out great for the inner ear surgery...but I did learn to ask for the best antinausea meds too -- haven't had trouble since - well with vomit. All morphine derivatives make me itch terribly -- love when i was doped up after hysterectomy and my family thought it was funny that i couldn't explain how bad I was...
