    sons saved my tomato plants they now have baby gates surrounding them....oops...guess this should be in the garden thread -- oh well -- pretend. Meatloaf Parsnips Broccolini Popcorn and Ice Cream at the fancy movie theater for dessert -- son gets us in for free -- i pay for snacks at his discounted rate

    Last night: Carnitas Burrito Bar Refried White and Kidney Beans Salad Strawberry Cake for dessert. We (the hubby part of we) has successfully delayed breaking concrete to replumb our kitchen for a short time.... I ought to be more careful what I wish for....was researching how to utilize our laundry room grey water for my new veggie garden...

    Happy Friday Dinner Peeps! Woke ready to say good riddance to one crap week! Have already been cooking large batches -- for me. Basil Almond Pesto Cilantro Dressing Carrot Garlic Sauce Until I get clear from whatever has been causing my issues this week I am back to meat/fish with either zuccini curlz, spaghetti squash or sweet potatoes...

    Lol....we have sketches of that type of garment too! I've been dealing with this heat dealio for a long time -- since I was a kid really -- just got worse each decade.

    Hi All...not Merry Sunshine here of late -- the flood turned into major plumbing project that we have been putting off for years...today we'll decide if we are going to crack open the foundation -- my vote is no -- temp fixes last several years around here and I'd like to put it off for a bit longer until we can remodel properly -- ie when I have an income...

    Last night we added a bit of basil too. Salmon grilled with Basil Aioli Rice with chopped Basil Steamed Broccoli Brownies with Coffee Ice Cream and Vanilla Whipped Cream for the family -- Laundry Room/Master Closet flood for me - Yay -- off to the laundry mat to dry everything...Hubs will take care of the dishwasher/plumbing issue after work this...

    Indeed...I used to make flour once in awhile but they turn to mush too easily.. ...must be the lack of access to the Flux Capacitor or a Tardis

    hmmmm...that looks a bit messy...well that is the way we cook...throwing bits of whole food together.....let me know if you can't replicate and I'll try to clean it up a bit. Still have dif kids grabbing instruments down below me --- so I am in heaven!!!

    Oh boy...late to the party..... BEST ENCHILADAs EVER and ya we've been eating them awhile in this neck of the woods.... Any left over steak, pork, chicken...or make sure you bake a few thighs to have meat! Grate cheese..lots...Jack is best but cheddar works....helpful hint --- throw the block in the freeze for about 10 before you grate. about...

    Made it to fireworks -- up on the rooftop...we can see several coast displays...IF the smoke gets blown out to sea -- ah ya -- this is kinda like ol' puxatony phil -- the smoke rarely gets blown out to sea -- yet to be up on the roof while my men are trying not to blow injure themselves with short fused fire crackers is something I have missed these past...

    Peachy dessert changed to easy pineapple upside down as I had a pineapple committing suicide on my porch....tomorrow something peachy. Enchiladas still on...hoping Ill make it to fireworks....all this floating made me sleepy....enjoy for me East Coast peeps!

    As time gluten-free increases...this can happen - sucks but does reinforce the need to become a really good label reader.

    Nope...they count as dessert We had carrots, zucchini and onion saute with our shrimp and tots. oh and corn on the cob -- was kinda a jumble for everyone -- not sure how that happened.
