  4. Hi Linda! The antibody tests are not perfect. Do you know which celiac antibody tests were run? You likely inherited the celiac gene from your mother...but the positive biopsy with complete resolution of symptoms after removing gluten is celiac disease. Edited to add: I would request written copies of your past testing and all future testing.

  9. Many hotels have a no stove rule...I've never had issue with toting a toaster oven or crock pot along. And many moons ago...long, long before celiac diagnosis...hubs and i used to bring camp stove with us to stay in the cheapest hotels we could find so we could ski a week to ten days for very little money...so as long as you are careful a camp stove can...

All tests except some blood for inflammation were good...likely contracted some sort of viral infection that caused inflammation at the base of brain/neck...got meds to manage until we see primary on Monday at which time I hope he'll already be kicking this b%$@...

  21. When I was finally diagnosed my boys were teens, their pediatrician ordered celiac panels on them without question. I know a lot more about testing now so I would have pushed for a few more tests...mostly nutrients as both of them had a variety of symptoms that could be associated with celiac disease. They both tested negative, but each went gluten-free...
