    ARCHIVED Sleep

This member hasn't been back since they started their account in November. While Joshy may not repond - others may be interested in the information you have added. When I flare we say I'm horizontal and when I improve I am vertical again -- presents a very clear visual description to family and friends. Certified Gluten Free foods are safe for most...

  3. Years ago one of our favorite DJs proclaimed March 21st as "Steak and something not appropriate for a public forum Day". Still like...

  5. Yep...single tile...first play I thought it was a silly waste of time....while that may be true...I made the mistake of leaving the window open on my laptop and now I'm hooked. 256 is good....I was stuck there for awhile...still only got one 512 here
  6. I have as well....the three day challenge is now possible in the research lab, it will take time for it to make it to a doctor's office. The one we eagerly await (and refer to as the "when we see pigs fly" test) in this family is the biopsy in a petri dish - no challenge required. Will be great for both those that choose to remove gluten before they...
  7. What sounds normal is all the symptoms of celiac being dismissed. Just teasing...kind of. Seriously, your doctor sounds wonderful and more tests is a pain...but a doctor willing to order them is doing their job and it is wonderful to see. While false negatives are frequent with celiac - false positives are very rare. We have a saying that we...

  11. Welcome Valarie and daughter! 1) yes, in my experience and knowledge of numerous reports. would wait for those more knowledgeable than I with regard to DH to chime in. 2) Absolutely - Yes. 3) Again...I'll wait for those with direct experience to add their expertise. 12. Rocky Mountain High -- John Denver
  13. Hi Peter! The issue with hand sanitizers isn't that it contains gluten...washing with with gel hand sanitizer does not break down the protein of gluten -- where washing with soap and water does. When available...good old soap and water is preferable -- but when out and about I do use hand sanitizer and/or plain water when that is all that is available...

  20. Welcome Lola! First...higher levels of antibodies found in the blood are not a good indication of severity of symptoms or stages of celiac disease...so no, the levels can't get worse, but your health can and levels may increase with time. Second...you had a positive celiac antibody test along with symptoms -- that certainly deserves more investigation...

  23. you get a salt water generator to add between the pump/filter and the pool intake -- cost about 170 for an above ground pool -- ours is 15' wide and 5' deep -- water is 4.5' deep...so it would work with any of the smaller round vinyl pools -- not sure what is entailed for an inground pool...but have swum in some wonderful salt water pools on hubs job sites...
