  1. Just because you didn't react then, doesn't mean you won't now. I wouldn't do it. I've heard that some chains add pancake batter to omelettes and such. Even then, the high risk of CC would not be worth it to me.
  2. Stainless steel are easy to clean and deal with. The teflon is an issue because it can get scratches in it that can make it difficult to clean.
  3. 60s today. I kinda want it to snow
  4. Eeeek, no fun. No snow here. Lots of wind though.
  5. Eh, heat really does not agree with me.
  6. I do not miss the heat of FL though :/ I'd rather have a snowy winter. And those storms.... I remember having 3 days off for one from school. Luckily it changed its route just a bit so we weren't hit bad but still.
  7. Yes, corn is gluten free. Some cannot have it because they are intolorent to it. A good test for corn would be to eat it off the cob.
  8. Gluten withdrawl is not fun. However, I know your pain to a degree. I used to love tomatos (mainly when they were cooked). Found out i was allergic to them and i had to cut them out completely. It was not fun. I was a such a bread and pasta fan that it hit me hard. None of the gluten-free breads tasted right to me. Same with the pasta. I do not...
  9. I made a coffee cake for breakfast, i wonder what i'll do for dinner....
  10. Its in the 30s right now with a lot of wind
  11. I cheated three times not long after my dx. That was over two years ago. It is extremely difficult. Even more so now if someone brings (or bakes) something gluten-y. I get quite the bellyache over it from the smell.
  12. Florida has a very mild winter. You'd be surprised. Same.
  13. Before i went gluten free, for example, i loved cous cous. How would i replicate this? What about beef stroganoff or something similar? I recently lost onions and butter (but i have no issues with milk or cheese). Any ideas? I'll probably post back with more when i think of more.
  14. That or soy. Since you have a low dairy house i would say soy might be the issue here.
  15. That was my second thought.
  16. Ditto. I toss the pasta in the last 8 or so minutes of cooking. Turns out fine, most of the time.
  17. Well, a good test would be to test it by doing a homemade version. Has he been eating really healthy? That could be the reason right there.
  18. Did you have a vitamin check done? Usually, when nails have ridges and the like, from my understanding, its because you are low on something.
  19. The jittery could also be a sign of low blood sugar.
  20. I neeeeeed sleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep....
