  1. Going to make some veggie fried rice... Edit: Oh dear... where do i begin? First off, I loved the taste of that soy sauce (san-j). I mixed it with a bit of brown sugar syrup. Turned out to be pretty good. The sugar probably cut the saltyness of the soy sauce, so when i dished it up I sprinkled a little sea salt on it (I hardly season anything). ...
  2. I use C&H brown sugar. No issues here.
  3. What type of raviolis were they?
  4. However, if something is suspected, they can be useful.
  5. Get a celaic panel done. There seems to be a link between celiac and gallbladder issues. I have also had mine removed. The other symptoms you have may be related. Also, if you choose to go through the testing (both the blood tests and the endoscopy plus biopsy) you must be on gluten for the tests to be accurate.
  6. Have you tried their cornbread mix? I've been wondering if it is any good.
  7. Looks like the hormel products have a larger line than the applegate. I may actually do those instead.
  8. I know this has been discussed before, but i have some additional questions. Apple gate meats look good, the one that looks the best to me is the roast beef. Has anyone tried it? Is boars head meats behind the deli counter only? I'm looking for something that is not only gluten free, but also free of colorings and other added preservatives.
  9. The sleep idea is a good one. There are times when i get very little sleep. Before my celiac dx I would have it nearly every morning in one form or another (in this case it was almost always an upset stomach). Now it only occurs maybe once or twice a month, if that.
  10. Maybe you can make your own batch of chocolate covered pretzels. Its pretty easy to do and fun as well.
  11. Its the only game i can think of off the top of my head that has mammoths Indeed.
  12. Skyrim? Good news, no acid reflux with the leftover pizza. Making chicken noodle soup for dinner.
  13. Yep, that would be an issue.
  14. I'm thinking that it may be more of a cross contamination issue than the quinoa, especially if you are still having issues.
  15. true enough, but with previous experience with cheese, that is usually the culprit.
  16. I have no issues with the pizza crust thus far! I shall know more when i eat some of the leftovers. This success is kind of making me want to go try out the soy sauce that i bought a few months back (and never opened or used). In all seriousness though, i think i got a little acid reflux from the cheese, but outside of that it was fine.
  17. It can take a while. A few months to maybe a year or so.
  18. Could you take a white cake mix and add whatever is needed for the carrot cake? Thats the only way i can think of to speed the process of making it up a bit.
  19. Does anyone know of a good one? I know there is probably a topic on this, but it never hurts to ask again.
  20. I would instead have nightmares that feel like i'm falling in them. They have certainly decreased since going gluten free.
  21. This does not happen all the time, rather on occasion. I will wake up in the morning and when i get out of bed my stomach starts doing this weird cramping thing (no other way to explain it). My stomach rolls and I feel like i'm going to get sick. If i ignore it and don't eat anything (which seems to help a litle bit), it can and will escalate into full...
  22. It is good that he is talking about it though.
  23. Very much so...
  24. The small intestine is about 15 to 32 feet in length. It is very possible to miss damage.
