Hi I am new here.  I had a gastroscopy today to test for celiacs and was told after the procedure that I have endoscopic duodenal changes suggestive of celiacs.  The Gastro said it looked flattened.  I am feeling a little impatient for the pathology results and was just wondering if anyone knows if you could have this and not have celiac disease.

Waiting for the pathology report is hard!  

My GI said that visually he could see no damage, but my biopsies revealed moderate to severe damage.  Did your doctor order celiac blood tests?  Many things can damage intestinal villi:
