What do you think?

My 8 year old has been "sick" most of her life however when we first took her to many doctors, we were told we were crazy and she was fine.

My daughters symptoms include:

-constipation, sometimes it's green without any foods that would cause it

-bumpy skin

-itchy skin without rash

-gets super flushed

-chronic stomach pain

-chronic leg pain

-chronic sore throat

-her fingers are incredible sensitive to cold, (it doesn't even have to be super cold), her fingers get red

and she has screamed in pain from them.

-tired and restless. Cuddling with her is a pain.

-super irritable and would be sad for no known reason.

Also a couple of things we noticed when she wasn't eating gluten versus when she was, that she would stay in her own bed and she wasn't feeling scared about what was under bed. She also was able to read more. She also missed a lot less school because she seemed more well and happy.

I've been down this road before with doctors and they completely dismissed myself and my hubby. I'm so scared they won't listen. Do you think this could be an intolerance of some kind? Does it sound familiar to anyone. Thank you ?

It could be celiac disease. Here is a link to some of the possible symptoms of celiac disease.

Could be, but you need to get her tested. She will have to be eating gluten daily for 12 weeks for this. It is refereed to as a gluten challenge, not much just half slice of bread a day, few crackers, or a tsp of wheat germ. Then they do a simple blood test and check for the antibodies but you need to ask for a FULL celiac blood panel. There are some labs you can order online if your doctor will not work with you. From there you can see about getting a consult with a GI about a endoscope, they will need to take multiple biopsies of the small intestines to check for damage.

Mean time you can help some of the symptoms with simple B-vitmain complex, and Magnesium. Both issues would cause the restless issues, stress, the leg issues and constipation are signs of magnesium deficiency these would be caused by damaged intestines preventing the adequate absorption of nutrients. You can talk to your doctor or nutritionist to be sure but if you want to try, I use liquid mixed and liquid forms of both. Easy for kids, Liquid Health Stress & Energy and Liquid Health Neurological Support...for her maybe 1 tsp each 3 times a day I take 1tbsp each. They also have a kids liquid multi if you wish. Magnesium. Natural Vitality Calm would be the one for constipation issues, start her at 1/4 tsp a day slowly up it by 1/4tsp or 1 gram at a time til she gets loose stools then back it back down (dosing to tolerance) I doubt she would need even a full tsp. It will also help with stress. Look up magnesium Deficiency to see how well many of her issues fit. Other nutrient issues might exist.

Thank you so much. I will look into all of that.

Prolonged dehydration can cause kidney damage. How long has this been going on? Are you have diarrhea also? That's what the dyclomine is for I think.
