1. sobe drinks or snappel teas, are these gluten free and if not what ones do contain, i meen all ingrediants i reed seem perfectly fine but as i keep finding out you can never be to sure even if the ingrediants are clean (im getten tired of always drinking water and propel)

and 2. i got some tysen chicken (always do) but i usualy get the indaviduly bagged breasts or full breasts in a package but they where sold out of both so i had to get the frozen bag of breasts, instead of beeing in a slight water/broth mix they are ice glazed, the ingrediants look fine for the glaze but it does have natural ingrediants listed

hm, i'm sure the drinks are okay, but i'd see if you can contact them...

www.sobebev.com click on the products to see ingredients, and click on about us to contact them. they have an email and a phone #

www.snapple.com there's a contact link at the bottom of the page.

Open Original Shared Link I know that some meat products have gluten-containing sauces...so read labels first, and then contact them by following this link.

Let us all know what you find out! :)

I expect that the chicken is fine, but not for sure. :D

Lister Rising Star

well im gonna have to probably risk the chicken, since im broke and i got 1 other breast left before i have to break into that bag, and i gotta cook some up for tomorrow, hopefully will be fine, i would think it would be but this was my first time buying ice glazed chicken instead of normal packaged chicken

Lister Rising Star

since its chicken would they have to list wheat? or could it be hidden in the natural flavorings?

it may be gluten free but its nasty lol, i dont recommend Tysons bonless skinless ready to cook frozen chicken breasts, definatly was not worth the 2 dollers i saved not buying fresh.

oh and i cant say 100% that what i ate was gluten free, i re-read there email and there response was

are individuly packaged frozen ready to cook chicken breasts are gluten free

but what i got was frozen ready to cook chicken breasts, they are not individualy packaged but i doubt gluten is in them, even though im getten hot and what not, but of course im really good at getting myself into panic attacks when i eat something new (thats why i only eat the same thing every day)

Sobe is Gluten Free.

Tyson Frozen bagged chicken breasts is gluten free.

Some bags are better than others, taste wise, I've found. True, the fresh stuff is better, but I'd just freeze it straight away anyways.

I buy Manor House boneless skinless chicken breast with ice glaze. I dont seem to have a problem, but after reading I think I will call tomorrow. I really did not think about the glaze. wow what was I thinking.

Definitely worth speaking to your gastroenterologist about this. My own told me that by using Gaviscon a barrier forms over the contents of the stomach and stops gas and acid irritating the throat.  In fact, he said to me that because I found relief using Gaviscon that was a very clear indicator that reflux was the cause of that particular issue.   A wedge pillow will really help with this - or raising the top bed legs with bricks.

I did get the pneumonia vaccine about 4 years ago. I had this amazing allergist who did all those vitamin deficiencies test and told to get that vaccine. Unfortunately she retired.  I haven’t been to an allergist in a few years,  I’m not sure what my levels are now. I did have a pulmonologist who wasn’t concern and said I seemed fine to him that I was young etc. But yes I think I should at the very least get a different opinion. Thank you for your reply

Yes I do have acid reflux. I’m not on anything for it at the moment. I sometimes wonder if that’s what it could be because I get heart burn every night. I may revisit my gastrointestinal doctor again. Thanks for the reply

Hi @HelloFlowersGoodbyeFlour I wonder if you suffer from reflux, as if you do, you may find it could also be irritating your airways.  I shall explain: I have to use a blue inhaler from time to time, and it seems to be related to reflux.  Never had any trouble before my coeliac diagnosis, the reflux seemed to be something that developed following a holiday to France in 2019, where I had been exposed to gluten.    The reflux continued into the autumn and winter, my throat itched to begin with, particularly after meals, but it then that feeling of irritation seemed to spread to my lungs.  I even found it difficult to breathe on occasion. What stopped it in its tracks was using a wedge pillow at night, following a reflux diet (you can find them online), not eating 2-4 hours before bed and also having a dose of Gaviscon Advanced at night, which forms a barrier so that acid/food can't go back up your esophagus.  The throat irritation faded, and then I found it easier to breathe again. Just mentioning in case it could be a contributing factor.

Since initially getting your D checked a few years ago, has it since rebounded to normal levels? Sounds like at some point you got it checked again.
