Know The Cause

I just found this website after doing some research on Leukemia and it's relationship to fungal infections. I thought some of you might find it interesting and informative.

I have no affiliation with this site. Let me know if this is inappropriate...

Ken,

Know the cause covers one aspect of disease and that's fungus. For most of us it is multifactoral.

Gluten is a problem for many and it seems to be growing for some reason. Years ago, one never heard of this problem.

Heavy metals can also be a serious concern and has to be dealt with before one can have complete health.

The continuing condition of gmos without testing on the market can cross contaminate many foods that people can be sensitive to and not even realize that they are at risk.

Terrible practices in the mass production of animals and animal products have seriously affected the quality of the food from many aspects.

One should keep trying and explore all possibilities. If you can find a doctor willing to be open to helping you get well that is an added bonus.

When I first realized gluten was a problem for me and my conditions improved after having gone gluten free I was like an Evangelist singing the praises of the gluten-free lifestyle. After suffering with fatigue and continued occassional bowel problems I went to a Functional Medicine specialist. He was the one who did a saliva test and discovered that I was riddled with Candida. I went on the anit-fungals and the diet and presto - I'm 98% fixed.

I'm realizing now, after some experimentation, that gluten is not my real problem. Leaky Gut is my real problem. I would have argued to the death a year ago that gluten intolerance and Celiac were the same thing. Today I feel differently although I haven't worked it all out for myself yet.

This experience has taught me to put everything possible on my radar screen and to think of all human diseases in a new way.

There is a family in town that has 4 young children like we do. One of the children is Autistic and the youngest was just diagnosed with ALL Leukemia. I started googling and unbelievably discovered relatively strong links to both cancer and autism with fungi.

The town I live in is a coastal marsh town in Northern Massachusetts. There are only 3000 of us here. The town is noted by some to have a high rate of cancer. I know of at least one other person to suffer with systematic candida in this town. My intuition is telling me there could be a link.

Here is where I think gluten, corn, soy etc come into play. I believe that these foods that are grown the way you describe carry the fungus. Now that are diets are so radically different than they were just 50 years ago we are seeing all of these problems. So which is it, wheat carrying fungus causing candida and leaky gut causing gluten intolerance or the other way around? Kinda the chicken or the egg argument. Where does heavy metal toxicity come into play and for how many of us.

I am personally doing very very well. I began swimming again this week and have already logged more than 10k yards. Having lost 40 pounds and having new energy I have to say it was almost easy.

I am seeing an alternative practitioner for colon hydrotherapy next week. This will be my first time :o Wish me luck...

Ken,

This is so true. I started the struggle with fungus, then heavy metals, and now the gluten focus. I feel so much better and I can tell that healing is taking place. I've learned so much in the 8 years that I have been changing my lifestyle and way of doing things that I will never go back. It is the only way to stay well over the long haul.

I really believe that given the right circumstances, the body CAN heal and come back to health.
