Paula's Choice Cosmetics

For those of you who use or who want to use Paula's Choice Skincare and Cosmetics, I wrote to them to ask them about a couple of their products and received this helpful and prompt reply:

Thank you for your email and interest in Paula's Choice products. We are pleased to inform you that the majority of Paula's Choice and Paula's Select products are gluten-free. The following products do contain wheat and/or oat ingredients and should be avoided by those with Celiac Disease:

*Skin Balancing Moisture Gel (contains wheat germ oil)

*Hydrating Treatment Cream (contains wheat protein)

*Lip & Body Treatment Balm (contains wheat germ oil)

*Moisturizing Lipscreen SPF 15 (contains wheat germ oil)

*Beautiful Body Butter (contains oat kernel extract, though research has shown most Celiacs can tolerate oats in any form)

*Silky Start Sugar Scrub (contains oat kernel oil, though research has shown most Celiacs can tolerate oats in any form)

*All Over Hair & Body Shampoo (contains wheat protein)

*Smooth Finish Conditioner (contains wheat amino acids)

*Brow/Hair Tint (all shades contain wheat protein and oligosacharrides)

*Extra Care Non-Greasy SPF 30 Sunscreen (Contains oat beta-glucan, which is a type of yeast derived from oats. Note: this may be OK for Celiacs-please check with your doctor.)

*Super Antioxidant Concentrate (Contains oat beta-glucan, which is a type of yeast derived from oats. Note: this may be OK for Celiacs-please check with your doctor.)

*Hydralight Moisture infusing lotion (Contains oat kernel extract) which is a topical anti-irritant.
