I don't have a good bread recipe (still looking) but I think psyllium husk is wheat... A celiac friend of mine got violently ill when on metamucil.

Here's the link to the famous "Lorka Bread". The post calls it the most delicious home made bread...and I will echo that! It is amazing! I usually double the recipe so I can stick a loaf in the freezer! It's the best texture I've found in a gluten-free bread, and it tastes great! I've made sandwiches, french toast, regular toast and bread crumbs with it numerous times :)


When I have made it, I have used a combination of these flour mixes (1/4 part of the first, 3/4 part of the second):

Gluten-Free (gluten-free) Mix - from Bette Hagman's Gluten Free Gourmet

3 c. rice flour

1 c. potato starch (NOT potato flour)
