Question About Beauty Products

Do you stick with gluten-free health/beauty products, or just ones that you use around your mouth like toothpaste and lip products? I'm just curious because I've heard some people say its fine unless it's near your mouth, but my derm. told me to switch to all gluten-free products. I wasn't sure if thats standard or if I'm just extra sensitive.

I would urge you to follow your derms advice. I use all gluten free products.

For sure, all gluten free products. No need to risk it.

i was told that you need to be strict about the stuff that you put on your lips and in your mouth. lip stick, chapstick, mouth wash, toothpaste etc. i was told that the gluten in lotions and cleaners will no go through your skin to cause intestinal damage. BUT after applying lotion to your body, if you don't wash your hands good your run the risk of putting your fingers in your mouth and swallowing the lotion. that's why they say go big or go home with the beauty products. it's up to you though.
