  2. Sorry if this sounds gross...but if your kitty is a hunter, she may like her chicken baked on the rare side
  3. I say bake it...and if it's a whole chicken packaged with giblets...boil and chop those....cat will love you....well until you do something to disrupt its purrfect world
  4. Thanks for the great idea and J's wholehearted approval. My hubs and I made a deal when we met...whomever cooks doesn't clean...on nights we both cooked, we both cleaned up....until the boys were big enough to take over...same deal if they cook the rest of us clean up...when they were little and were bickering during KP...we went to an every other night...
  5. Ps...my guys prefer Canyon Bakehouse...then taste splits...hubs prefers Udis to Glutino and three Bakers. One young man prefers Glutino and the other ThreeBakers. I purchase them all based on sale prices.
  6. Nooooo....lol, I can save them a bundle...simply purchase Sheetrock and have it cut into bread sized pieces. I hear the shelf life is identical too
  7. Bumping Jamie's post because these baked donuts are awesome...all this donut talk made me search for this recipe...time for some sinful chocolate glazed donuts again around here. Dinner is something in KFG....not feeling great so dumping some meat in there seems like an excellent plan to me Edited...lol...Here you go Irish! You type faster than I...
  8. Yep, I'm aware of all those, but since I wasn't tested for Cutaneous Mastocytosis I had forgotten the skin biopsy. My diet is also limited, I don't call it outrageously....I just can't eat anything but meat, veggies and a few fruits for the past three years along with completely gluten-free for five and a half years...it has helped me improve, but I am...
  9. This is me too.
  10. I don't often say this about a gluten-free cookbook as I generally cook from regular recipes and just make necessary subs for gluten, but the ATK gluten-free book is worth purchasing.
  11. Hmmm...I haven't had a skin test. Would love to hear your results when you get them...I had such an uphill battle for diagnosis, can't imagine getting a diagnosis with just a skin test. That would be fantastic!
  12. I haven't made the English muffins from ATK yet...but the biscuits were awesome. Thanks again Irish....think I'm going to make a batch to top a chicken pot pie type casserole for tonight...if a can stop snuggly my little Sandie doggie long enough to cook
  13. I got plenty of nooks and cranes I am not in need of...I'll take his share

    ARCHIVED Alcohol

What? People with Masto are indeed intolerant of many things....including certain libations, yet the intolerance of alcoholic and fermented items is not a hard and fast rule. My own body creates too much histamine and other amines in reaction to exercise, external heat, humidity and sunlight.... along with numerous foods and environmental concerns....yet...
  15. Thank you for this informational link...I'm trying to follow along. How were you diagnosed with Mastocytosis?
  16. And it was a beautiful pizza indeed! Thanks to Karen's heads up...all the men and I all had a couple slices of bacon for breakfast...we were all up and out at different times, but a special day for bacon is a special day indeed. Hubs just got home from riding around the county and is now making a BLT. Dinner will be steak with bacon topped something...
  17. I used to prefer the foil pouches of tuna and salmon...they tasted a bit better than canned
  18. Mine is pretty far along as well. Good luck to you
  19. I love Justin's. I always have almonds on me...sometimes I mix with Justin's chocolate almond packs. Yum. It may just be me...but I tend to bring more food than I ever use when traveling...you will run into safe sources everywhere...even minimarts usually have yogurt, cheese or fresh fruit ...so if you are packing for a week...I'd go a bit light or you...
  20. Awesome!! Just picks up a few pounds of thick and along with a few pounds of regular sliced....whatever shall I do? Hey where is our bacon dancing dude? Dinner is fresh yellowtail...I can't eat it even seared of late so made some interesting dipping sauce for my sashimi slices. Hubs is eating light with me and then off to ride around the city...
  21. Happy Friday JD! Like anything else you can learn to find joy while dealing with our - ever so not helpful - healthcare system. It helps to learn all you can about possible conditions. It is not fair that we have to understand more than many doctors do about autoimmune conditions, but if symptoms do not improve after 3-6 months gluten-free, it becomes...
  22. Justin's individual squeeze packets of almond and peanut butters are all tasty...well I've only tried all the almond ones.
  23. Some are tasty...others are simply safe fruit and veggies at the ready Happy Baby is making some targeted at grownups . Those are yummy.
