    Was happy when I finished the new season of OITNB until I realized I now have to wait even longer until the next season....doh! Btw...where does one find three giraffes in one day...I am on the lookout for one myself for my little backyard project.

    Christmas in July? Yay! with the heat and air quality in paradise I've been toast by dinner time lately...had encore cheese burger for me last night with yam chunks and broccoli.     Let's see...yesterday was a crappy day, but today is looking up! We had Tri-Tip steak strips on the 4th. Last night we had Ribeyes - yum!!! Just threw a whole chicken in KFG (aka the Crock Pot) with some herbs. It is beautiful here which means I need to hide under the numerous umbrellas scattered about....but thankful that I am not in as much...

    Interestingly it does get the hood talking...and I make the son's current band go door to door at least six weeks in advance to ask permission for the date they want...that and all amplified music ends at 7pm...all acoustic hours actually bring some folks out of there homes to listen

    Wrong market today for Turkey...will have to wait until tomorrow. Threw a big assed pork butt into KFG with a couple cans of Bush's Baked Beans, chopped red onion and maple syrup...gonna smell almost as good as Turkey Day in here edited to add...couple shots of Bourbon just fell into the pot
