  1. My grandson slapped a small pile of flour on the table as my daughter in-law was baking. I got exposed and was miserable. It was airborne
  2. I suffer from hives that appear with no obvious causes. The last allergist I saw made the conclusion it was caused by my Celiacs. You may think you're gluten free but keep in mind the reality of cross contamination. I was at the town office recently. The clerk was processing my paperwork when i noticed she had a bagle on her desk. It's so easy to get exposed
  3. I developed a sensitivity to soy after my Celiac diagnosis. Do the elimination diet and find out what specifically is upsetting your gut. I found that gluten free items had soy. Try to stick to whole foods anything processed is tricky
  4. I completely relate to this topic and have tried pre and probiotics. I find that bone broth has helped. Your gut is compromised because of Celiac and leaky gut. I developed an intolerance to soy which causes similar symptoms to a gluten exposure. Try the elimination diet and add foods back in and see if dairy or soys could also be the culprit. You could also...
  5. Hi, I now have a problem with soy. The elimination diet will help you figure out what is causing you discomfort.
  6. Hi, unfortunately your daughter can't trust food that she doesn't make. Cross contamination is a real concern everywhere, even home. It would help to have gluten free snacks available. When i travel i always have something to eat so I don't worry about eating out. Since, she is 18 she would also have to be concerned about cross contamination from kissing...
  7. Try the elimination diet I was diagnosed with Celiacs 2015 but something else was also upsetting my stomach. Soy is my nemesis and causes me to bloat, have stomach upset and diarrhea. I met another person who had an issue with histamine in foods. There are different minds of IBD to consider. Hope you feel better
  8. I was 117 and i was told muscle like the number around 60. The soy is in a few items I indulge... salad dressing, candy, icecream 😜
  9. Yes to a decrease in the raw feeling once Gluten was removed. My issue was from cross contamination. When you start to feel better going gluten-free is easy. I was exposed to gluten two months ago and i used to tolerate a little soy but not lately. The bloating and diarrhea is a real pain. Good luck
  10. My vitamin D was very low which was causing leg cramps. I started taking D3 and the number after a year was to high which can cause GI issues. I think it is still soy causing me grief.
  11. The first biopsy showed Celiacs. I noticed that some of my symptoms started to lessen once i went gluten-free. My stomach still felt raw, irritated and inflamed. Make sure you check all the labels. Not just food check hair products etc... My husband drinks beer he has to brush and gargle so a simple kiss doesn't cross contaminate me. The elimination diet...
  12. Maybe i should have said raw and irritated. I've had an endoscopy and everything looks good.
  13. Hi, in response to your continued symptoms. I was diagnosed with Celiac in 2015 and noticed my symptoms decreased when i started the gluten-free diet. I started to eat gluten-free products and my symptoms worsened. I finally did the elimination diet and soy was the culprit. I had bloating, diarrhea and burning stomach feeling. Try to eat whole foods fresh...
