Fast and Easy Jaipur Vegetables by Tasty Bite - Great Gluten-Free Indian Cuisine

Reviewed and edited by a celiac disease expert.

It has been a while since I’ve tried Tasty Bite products, so when their samples arrived a few days ago I was reminded of just how simple their products are to prepare—most require only 90 seconds in the microwave and they are ready to eat.  In addition to being very easy to prepare, most of their products are also gluten-free.  This combination makes them an easy choice when you want great gluten-free Indian Cuisine.

I picked out the gluten-free Jaipur Vegetables from their other samples because I love this dish, which consists of slow cooked vegetable stew with paneer cheese.  In addition to being gluten-free their products also do not contain MSG or preservatives, and are a healthy choice because they contain a wide array of vegetables that are very nutritious.

Tasty Bite - Great Gluten-Free Indian CuisineModern food technology still amazes me—90 seconds after putting the gluten-free Jaipur Vegetables in the microwave it was ready to eat, and it tasted wonderful!  The vegetables were remarkably fresh tasting, and were cooked to perfection—this dish really tasted like something that would be served at a high-end Indian restaurant (without the high cost!).

I would definitely buy Tasty Bite Jaipur Vegetables on a regular basis, as well as their other outstanding gluten-free Indian meals and side dishes.

Wow. your timing is impeccable. I have sensitivities to gluten, sugar, dairy, eggs, soy, most grains and the list seems to grow!!! I went to bed last night thinking I really need to just focus on some simple, clean meals and stay the course. I woke up, checked email and found your recommendation for these Tasty Bites. I looked up the ingredients and many of them are free of the above mentioned allergens. I will give them a try. Thanks so much!!! Hope I can find them in my stores in PA. If not, I'll order online. -angela

Dr. Praeger's Gluten Free Fish Sticks and Fish Fillets Hit the Spot
Celiac.com 07/30/2007 - When I was growing up, one of the favorite things for my brother and I to have for dinner was fish sticks served hot out of the oven along with our favorite French fries.
Sure, my mom made many healthy and nutritious meals. In fact, much to our chagrin, she favored healthy and nutritious meals, while my brother and I used to beg for things that tasted great and were sure to put a smile on our faces; like warm, crunchy fish sticks.
Even through college, every so often, when I was in need of a comfort food fix, I'd head to the store for a box of my favorite fish sticks and a bag of my favorite   French fries, careful to remember the requisite bottle of ketchup.
So, when I began to follow a gluten-free diet, I thought I'd never again know the ...

Shabtai Gourmet's Kosher and Gluten Free Swiss Chocolate Roll
Celiac.com 03/08/2011 - I was so happy to discover Shabtai Gourmet's gluten-free Swiss chocolate roll. The first thing noticed was how easy it was to slice and how beautifully each slice looked. The smell of rich chocolate was overwhelming in the most wonderful of ways.  After the first bite, I knew we were going to reorder again and soon!  The chocolate sponge cake was moist and the crème filling gave the perfect compliment to the rich dark chocolate coating.  It was such a delicious treat for my entire family and not to mention that it is also certified kosher for passover as well.

Erewhon Gluten-Free Crispy Brown Rice Cereal
One of the difficult aspects of being a parent, especially if you are dealing with allergies, is to try and find a food that is nutritious, affordable and more importantly—finding one that all of my kids will enjoy!
When I discovered  Erewhon's gluten-free Crispy Brown Rice Cereal, I just had to give it a try.  The ingredient list is simple, which I love (only 3 ingredients total), and it is low in fat and has only 1 gram of sugar per serving.  It is also made with 100% whole grains.
When I first opened the package, it reminded me of a well known cereal that I grew up with.  I popped a few in my mouth and I was not disappointed!  This gluten-free cereal had a light crisp texture with a slight nuttiness...I am hooked!
When I introduced it to my kids there was no way I was...

    CeliAct Gluten-Free Nutritional Supplement
Since being diagnosed with celiac disease I have found that adding gluten-free vitamins to my diet has been particularly helpful with my overall healing process.  Unfortunately, the vast assortment of gluten-free vitamins that were necessary to incorporate into my daily diet had quickly taken over my cupboard, and it wasn't long before I started to grow tired of the whole process of figuring out which vitamins I needed to take, and when to take them.
I was looking for an easy way to simplify this whole process, and that is when I discovered CeliAct, a nutritional supplement made especially for people with celiac disease.  This is not just your typical gluten-free multi-vitamin, as it also contains a bone building formula, an intestinal healing blend, a probiotic defense and digestive e...
