Rash Question

Recommended Posts

I got the results of the biopsy.  She said it was a food allergy of some sort.  sighs............

When I know what foods I'm allergic to and hadn't eaten anything that I tested positive for.  So that's the end of that.  At least I was right, it wasn't shingles.

Osteoporosis, and sacroiliac arthritis diagnosed 32 yrs of age.  Chronic low wbc, Severe constipation, Migraines, severe GERD, multiple miscarriages, Sjrogen's disease, positive ANA, thyroid nodules (hyperthryoid), fatty liver disease with elevated enzymes, low vitamin D, low protein, IBS, SIBO, Discoid lupus, mulitple food allergies and massive hair loss.  I left my career because I was too sick to keep working, and it was devastating because I couldn't apply for disability without a diagnosis.  My daughter was a preemie and she has Central Auditory Processing Disorder (CAPD) and had a positive ANA and Rheumatoid Factor at 16 and now has been dx'd with Hashimoto's.

Allergic to:  corn, rice, beans, tomatoes, dairy.  Not diagnosed as celiac.

I'm so sorry. It's harder than hell to get a dx of dh. You have to educate the docs first & most of them don't take to being educated.

I wish I knew what a biopsy of DH showed if it wasn't taken adjacent to the rash area.  I tried to google that lol but didn't work.

I agree with you...They don't want anyone being smarter than they are.  The minute I mentioned a diagnosis, they shut me out completely.

Shingles is a viral disease created by the chickenpox infection. Generally it influences in adults those having weak immune system. Have a look http://www.webmd.com/skin-problems-and-treatments/shingles/

The biopsy said it definitely was not shingles.
