I have lots of symptoms. My PCP keeps referring my to diff. Specialists. Everything points towards celiacs. I'm sick of feeling sick,  like really sick.  I'm only 25. All my friends and family have been saying I look ill and I definitely feel it. Missed lots  of work too.

Just got colonoscopy results of normal but have internal hemorrhoids . It's already been 4 months of all this.  Ruled out crohns and ibs.

I  have an apt. with GI Dr Monday.  What tests should I ask for?

Anti-Gliadin (AGA) IgA
Anti-Gliadin (AGA) IgG
Anti-Endomysial (EMA) IgA
Anti-Tissue Transglutaminase (tTG) IgA
Deamidated Gliadin Peptide (DGP) IgA and IgG
Total Serum IgA

Also can be termed this way:

Endomysial Antibody IgA
Tissue Transglutaminase IgA
GLIADIN IgG
GLIADIN IgA
Total Serum IgA
Deamidated Gliadin Peptide (DGP) IgA and IgG

That is the blood work. If you come back positive on any of those then an endoscopy should be done taking biopsies.

Here's something you can print off and take to your doctor.

He or she may not really believe a lady on the internet!  Seriously, SquirmingItch gave you theCD  tests.  Be sure to keep eating gluten until all testing is done.  All!  Ask for the complete panel.  I root for this because I failed the TTG screening test which catches most but not all celiacs!

Thank you both! I will print out and give to the Dr. I also made a list of all weird  symptoms I've been having in the last few years that keep occurring.  I'm sure he will think I'm a hypochondriac haha
