Welcome to the forum! Candida albicans can be caused by untreated celiac disease, but can affect anyone. Can I ask how long you've been diagnosed and gluten-free? I believe a paleo diet is one way to deal with it, but I'm sure there are others. I know that a low starch and sugar diet is important, as well as avoiding processed foods.

A quick search does show others in our forum who have also been dealing with it, as well as some articles that discuss it:

Yes, I struggled with gluten intolerance and Candida for a long time. It took a very low carbohydrate diet, monolaurin, and lots of supplements. I ended up with multiple food intolerances, and it took a few years to really get it under control. It is possible to overcome it, just takes commitment. Good luck and stick with it!
