Took My Daughter To The Dr. Today

Recommended Posts

I agree with everyone! :) Do the enterolab stuff on your daughter (and yourself, if you'd like to use it to rub in your doctor's face) and it won't be invasive and won't make you sick for months! And find someone who will not tell you it's in your head. That makes me just as mad as those OBGYN's that tell you the pain is in your head. Screw them.

I know what you mean. I almost feel like I have to prove this self-diagnosis (through dietary changes) that I am gluten intolerant. It's like they don't believe me - its harder for them to accept than me.

Find a new Dr.! Can't you just go see an allergist and order the blood test for your daughter? Or order the enterolab test.

Your doctor would run a blood tests (ask for full celiac panel) and then confirm with endoscopy and biopsy celiac doesn't always show up on endoscopy and sometimes the biopsy is what confirms.
