Recommended Posts

HI, I have been newly diagnosed as gluten intolerant. I have autoimmune thyroiditis-bad and my doctor has put me on a gluten free diet, my question is where do I begin. I have no idea where to start! Its overwhelming. Do you have any suggestions?

Welcome!

You start simple, by what we call the Naked Diet. Simple meats, seafood, fresh veggies, rice, potatoes, fresh fruit, with as little seasoning other than salt and pepper. Don't panic, this is just in the beginning of the diet.

Keep it simple until you know what foods to expand upon. All of Mrs. Dash's spices are gluten free. Here is a list of things to look out for: https://www.celiac.com/categories/Safe-Glut...3B-Ingredients/
