Which do your children prefer? Perky O's or Glutino? My 2.5 yr old daughter spit out the Perky O's last night. Are the Glutino ones hard like the Perky O's? I'm guessing it was the texture she didn't like. Thanks!

I am 22 years old, but I prefer Perky O's and Heartlands Finest O's too!

I don't really like the glutino cereal, but I could see that a little kid would. It's not hard at all, but it's too sugary for me and has next to no nutritional value. A good gluten-free kids cereal that's better nutrion wise is envirokidz.

We've had both flavors of the Glutino ones. They didn't taste much like Cheerios, though. The texture was too "airy" if that makes sense. They had more of a corn flavor to me than Cheerios. We thought they were good, but I haven't bought them again because of the expense. The texture would probably be very pleasing to a little one.

Perky o's are disgusting. Even our chickens won't eat them, and that's saying something. The Heartland's Finest ones are OK, but I wouldn't want to eat a bowl of them. They are good in gluten-free party mix.

Neither! Both were bad. I tried them too. My 2 year old likes all the envirkids cereals. We buy Koala Crisps (similar to cocoa krispies), gorilla munch (similar to kix), and amazon flakes (corn flakes).

Yes, wheat is common in most soy sauces now because it speeds up the fermenting process.

For 16 years I have relied on the website glutenfreedrugs.com to determine if a pharmaceutical is gluten-free. The website has been down for at least a week. Does anyone have any information about this outage, the status of the website founder and maintainer pharmacist Steven A. Plogsted or a phone number? I did not get a response for my email to glutenfreedrugs@gmail.com in October of 2022. Steven did respond to my emails in 2012. Thanks.

Sounds like you are in the UK. With blood numbers that high, I thought docs in UK would give an official diagnosis without the biopsy. You should ask about that, so you can get support faster.  I'd try to find and print out anything that supports that in your country, get another appointment and take all of it with you. Even in the US now, some docs are doing this, my 19 year old step granddaughter got an official diagnosis here in US with just blood results a few months ago.

Is soy sauce in Korea also made from wheat like it usually is in US? I'd be concerned that even if asking about gluten, they would not be aware of or think of some like that.
