Too Much Salt In My Bread! Ideas?

Recommended Posts

I made 2 loaves of bread today and when I took a bite, I realized that I must have doubled the salt by mistake! It was very salty! I made up a mix a while ago and didn't think I had added the salt back then.

How would you use this bread? Any ideas? It's too salty for sandwiches or eating by itself. I suppost it might make decent crutons, but I doubt it.

You could make breadcrumbs out of it, label, and freeze. Be sure to include the "extra salt" on the label, so you don't add salt to whatever you use them in.

Breadcrumbs sound great -- especially to bread chicken or chicken fried steak.
