Need Help With Oil Again.

Ok, so it turns out that I am very intolerant of olive oil. It sends me running to the bathroom. I have been making homemade chips and popcorn with the olive oil and although I like it, I can't use it anymore. Would canola oil be a good oil to use in place of the olive oil? I can't live without my homemade chips! What is a good brand to buy? Wesson or Crisco?

My preference would be grapeseed oil.

Thanks. I'll check those out if I can even find them in my tiny town.

I know that all cooking oils are gluten free. I am just looking for what would taste best.

peanut oil if the flavor would add to what you're making.

I would stay away from canola oil and opt for either safflower or sunflower for frying. I feel like safflower is a little cheaper, but I can't remember.
