Hi there! I recently noticed that when I eat gluten/wheat, I feel restless and my body feels uncomfortable. It's not a physical spasm or anything but it's like I can't be comfortable. I notice it mostly when I am trying to lay down to watch a movie or go to sleep. I have to keep moving, stretching, something... and just can't seem to find a position where I can feel relaxed and rest.

Does anyone else have this? What is it?

Yes. This is exactly how mine started. It took me another 2 years of deterioration to get diagnosed. My nerves got so bad I could hardly sit down. I just stood and "buzzed". A celiac's gut won't process needed vitamins and your nerve system starts to die (my words). I'm now 1.5 years gluten-free and am healing. Not all celiac is gut related.

My last sentence - I meant gut related symptoms. There are some of us with mostly neuropathy.

      Trying to read my lab results

      Hi Scott, yes I have had symptoms for years and this is the second GI I have seen and he could not believe I have never been tested. He called later today and I am scheduled for an endoscopy. Is there a way to tell how severe my potential celiac is from the results above? What are the chances I will have the biopsy and come back negative and we have to keep...

      Constant low back, abdominal and pelvic pain!

      I agree christina, there is definitely many contributing factors! I have the pain today, my pelvis, hips and thighs ache! No idea why. But i have been sitting at work for 3 days so im thinking its my back. This disease is very mysterious (and frustrating) but not always to blame for every pain.

      Perhaps I should also have said that in addition to showing a very high response to gluten, her stool study showed that she had extreme reactions to everything achievement on it long course of microbials to treat that.
