  2. us too...usually we are "May Gray" about now but have been hanging around 90 at the beach -- supposed to cool off tomorrow or Wed....hope this breeze keeps blowing your way

Klutsie does not equal stoopid -- that is some fuzzy math you are doing up there....hope it is all cooled and not bubbly -- I've done that one far too many times so I am forbidden from putting anything with a handle in the oven! Dinner tonight is Corned Beef -- simply because it is hot as hell here so I needed something quick to throw in the crockpot...

I thought the same thing...sounds soooo good...unfortunately I'm a bit on the bloated side today for the two pieces of thick bacon I ate yesterday -- so yep, bacon still a no-no...but my heirloom tomatoes are growing so that will be the next trial -- whenever they are ready. On the bright side...my hubby gave me no grief for not packing tomato and lettuce...

Haven't watched yet...was camping last night to watch another type of race -- the Tour of California - Stage 1 -- Hubby pre-rode the entire course yesterday 102 miles with 9,000 feet of climbing...CRAZY...here is the great spot we hung out at today...was very relaxing...HOT (95ish) but I had plenty of shade and ice -- even got quite a bit of studying done...
  6. teaching son to make chili in the crockpot this weekend...this is the older one -- the younger one is an awesome cook -- but the older one is itching to get his own place so the cooking lessons have begun -- thinking crock pot lasagna will be next week's lesson -- and we are all grumpy yet nice -- I think it is a silly yak thing

  8. yep on purpose...was a long distance runner in high school...mostly to run away from home each day, but turned out i liked it...silly joint and muscle issues sidelined me in my early 20s -- i wonder what from gotta make those tink noodles this weekend --- chinese again will be great

My toenails are still cobalt blue -- I started wearing them in support of the local newscaster's 'blue on you' campaign and have now added more glitter and little stars -- they make me happy -- healing color or not -- i'm keeping them -- off to buy another bottle of revlon's glitter with little stars and moons in them French Onion Soup was great -- especially...
  10. Here I am! yesterday was a tough one so I was in bed before dinner --- delaying the onion soup once again -- hubby made chicken and baby brussels for me tonight is finally french onion soup a la peter -- steaks on the side

  12. i just put a 9x12 pineapple upside down cake in the oven -- happy men circling the kitchen island The rest of dinner is Mexican as it is Cinco de Mayo!!! Crispy Carnitas Corn Tortillas -- usually let the hubby have flour with carnitas...but with Dad and Sis at the table -- well just too many glutenie fingers hanging about for my comfort. Homemade...

So the fresh bread I made in prep for French Onion Soup will keep until Monday for a redo. Good news is he defrosted stew meat (he did here the "we" need to defrost meat part...

I was a black, navy, brown with light accent for the past 15 years as i bloated up like a balloon...now i'm wearing ALL bright colors and loving it...my professional clothes go to Autumn, but my exercise wear (daily norm) is black or grey leggings with bright bold colors on top -- no more boring for me - no way, no how! Tortilla Soup sounds yummy...just...
  18. SIL is garnet too and she feels ripped off! My kids are two diamonds and one citrine -- makes an awesome mothers ring...I've got two clear cz eternity bands with a citrine cz band sandwiched in there -- hubs is under instruction to get me a real set - one of these days -- for now this set sparkles at me nicely.
  19. I wear hot pink regular now with jeans or royal blue -- the little bit's brother loves royal blue -- my favorite color is green -- lucky for me it's my birthstone so i get to wear it around my neck with anything
