Self diagnosing off of internet and non-medical practitioners..... it wouldn't really matter if I explained the anatomy and the problems with a lot of this self-treatment/diagnosis, as well as the other reasons for doing an enema every day.... and the damage it does to a GI system, healthy or damaged.... I wish you luck and hope you get the help you need...

kareng replied to Scott Adams's topic in Publications & Publicity
I have posted about them before - but here is a link to thier website. They now have 2 pantries in the Kansas city area. If you are thinking about donating to a charity - this is a good one to consider. Open Original Shared Link -
How did you get that coffee all the way up into the small intestines? Did you use a power washer? Lol coffee itself is acidic and perhaps a bit "corrosive". Celiac is not an allergy - so being allergic to wheat does not mean you have Celiac. i still go back to my original recommendation - that you just treat your medically diagnosed conditions...

I'm sorry.... it doesn't look like an actual doctor gave you most of these diagnosis? You are self treating and diagnosing. Maybe stop all that and give your body a chance to heal from those self treatments? Then see what is left? and .... if you are eating gluten free, you can't be tested for Celiac. celiac clears up gluten free so, if you...

ARCHIVED Has anyone found anything that works?
kareng replied to This sucks.'s topic in Dermatitis Herpetiformis
If you were actually diagnosed with Dh by a skin biopsy, there is a medication that a doctor can prescribe for you. Open Original Shared Link If you have only been gf a month, it can take months to go away. You need to be very careful not to get glutened. -
ARCHIVED Joint distortion on fingers
kareng replied to Ruth Mandell's topic in Dermatitis Herpetiformis
Its a skin reaction - so you might get some superficial swelling around a blister or an infected blister that might look wierd. But I don't think it has any joint involvement. Sounds like arthritis, maybe. Have you showed this to your doctor? -
Oh! well....if I had known that! I would have told you you can't kiss anyone until you have dated them for 3 years and are over 25! lol

I have never heard that nonsense. Are you young? Maybe she thought she could keep you from casual "encounters"? He needs to clean his mouth, like I said. One thing we do - my hub will brush and floss and then eat and drink gluten-free with me. Then you can be as spontaneous on kissing as you want. I kind of wonder what other nonsense...

kareng replied to walterbyrd's topic in Gluten-Free Recipes & Cooking Tips
Young might email Pamela's and see if they have any tips for high altitude. -
I believe it differes by country

That makes no sense. He just needs to not have gluten in his mouth when he kisses you. A good brushing and flossing and rinseing should be fine.

IN the US, the labs will run whatever the doctor orders. So the doctor won't order The T3/4 tests unless he or she doesn't like the TSH results.

ARCHIVED Numbness & Tingling
kareng replied to CristinaH's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
That is not a test for Celiac disease, so your doctor didn't order a Celiac panel. All that test does is make sure you are able to produce the stuff that is tested for in a Celiac IGA test. Here is some info about testing to show the doctor. Most labs have a thing called a "celiac panel" which contains several blood testss for Celiac. Your... -
ARCHIVED Numbness & Tingling
kareng replied to CristinaH's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
The serum IGA does not test for Celiac antibodies. There was likely at least 1 other test done with it. You might want to get a copy of the tests done before you get too far into gluten free. You neeed to be eating gluten for the tests to be accurate. -
I haven't been able to get a straight answer about his dad. so what if he eats glutened and has no issues? He hasn't been diagnosed with Celiac from what I can gather from all these posts. So I don't think that's a real good reason for others to follow this's guys belief system or " theories" of Celiac disease. We have given him our opinions...

ARCHIVED What tests for Non Celiac gluten Intolerance?
kareng replied to Aspirant's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
There aren't any. You can get him tested for Celiac disease, which is a good idea to do before you make him gluten free.
