Hello I just joined the forum and this may sound silly but I don't know how to post? For example I clicked on Anyone from Alabama and I can read the post's but there is no way that I can see to post myself..I tried looking for instruction's. The only way I see is to click on an individual's name, is this right? lol

      Can you help me?

      thank you so much...

      Does Psilly like it?

      If so, keep doing it!

  4. Are you in Colorado?

  5. Like I said on the other thread, I can't believe a doc would give it to you for 20 years and not insist you eat gluten free. I suppose you will have grounds for a malpractice suit but 20 years of damage isn't worth the money to me.
  6. Feeling Psticky and pstinking hot pstill!

  7. If its still a Con-Agra product, they will clearly list all gluten even barley. The can will say Con-Agra in little print. or you could check the website to see if it is still one of thier products. The info on this thread is very old in "Product Time".
  8. Good job! You can make extra rice an freeze it in a baggie with your name on it. Then pop it out when you need some. I have found it stays good in the freezer for 3 months. Sometimes I cook little bits of carrot with the rice for a little added nutrition.
  9. I got a postcard from the Celiac Disease Center at the Univ of Chicago. Its for the free screening they do in October. whats interesting is it says you must be on a gluten containing diet for 12 weeks prior to testing. Doesn't say how much gluten.
  10. Whatever I decide to put on the sidewalk to cook! 104 F at 6:30 pm.
  11. Pulled pork (http://crockpot365.blogspot.com/2009/01/crockpot-barbecued-pulled-pork-recipe.html) on an Udi's bun, cantelope & potato chips. New Planet beer.
  12. I feel I have something worth reporting: Salmon on the girll with a grilled pinepple salsa, rice, peppers, cheese casserole, a lovely Chardonny.. Oink!
  13. Can I just say...I like your wit?...okay, I like your wit! :>)Thanks for the giggles.

  14. I thought about using his services until I saw him in person. He just didn't seem "right". Not a scientific reason - just a feeling. That, paired with the fact that he doesn't publish, makes me leary. The gluten-free diet made all the difference for me.
  15. I prefer to think of it as " fact checking".
  16. I don't believe any of you people are actually making all these yummy things! I am thinking about coming round to your homes to check on the quality of the food! Will require good planning so I don't have to back track.
  17. I didn't see Celiac on the list. I would think they would only want it if you have active antibodies? Unless they are looking ofr genetic markers?
  18. If you think they are confused on the ingredients, then don't eat them. I wouldn't. If they list something as being made from wheat but it isn't, then what else might they be mislabelling. There are plenty of ice cream treats you can eat.
  19. Hi! I'm actually from the Kansas side in KC, so really, nowhere close. And after that baseball game today, I think my dog in my picture may have had the right idea. He refused to wear the Royals hat.
  20. It says Wheat. It doesn't have to have the allergen info, it just has to spell out the word "Wheat". That is clearly labelling an allergen. Wouldn't touch them! Don't bother the poor company help line. They have already clearly disclosed this info to you.
  21. Just sorry you didn't find us sooner, heh? That sounds like a lot of work! I'll be right over!

  23. I have done ok with it. We never get the "butter flavored topping". I know with any popcorn that I can't eat too much. Not a gluten thing. Not sure what. Maybe the hulls are scratchy.
  24. Amen, Sister!
  25. I think I would wait for all your blood work to be normal. No antibodies and normal iron, CBC, B12, calcium & D. As well as get your thyroid checked. Your Ob/GYN would probably want to do those if you go for a check up and talk about getting pregnant. If they don't, get a new OB/GYN. Some of these were standard years ago before getting pregnant...
