  1. Yes, brain fog. It has gone away. I figured out that I had it when it went away. Then I realized I had, had it for 30 years! Here are some of the things I did that solved it: Vitamin supplements (Nutrient level tests are good I think) gluten free diet I even had to do grain free diet (I might have more than a gluten problem though) Keep everything...
  2. Oh, wow! I hope you will resolve this well and soon. D
  3. Yeah, perhaps it is a better preventative than cure. D I am sure I heard the information from this party. http://www.reboundair.com/?gclid=CKfe5qnX8bkCFYwWMgodJW8A8g I also heard it from a gymnastic coach that coached Us Olympic trampoline team. Nevertheless, I did get better, I think I got to the root and it wasn't a need to exercise.
  4. Me too. I had some problem with something I ate two weeks ago and feel a lot of nodes. My practitioner and I are also considering whether a progesterone cream, with some of my allergens caused my issues,. I was hoping applying it topical would work alright. Meanwhile, I have never had it this bad, or at least I think I haven't. I think my body is able...
  5. Oh, that sounds interesting. Let us know how it goes. D
  6. I always thought that I felt things a little more, because my body is better able to tell me that something is wrong. I hope you will be feeling better soon. D
  7. Hang in there. You can start out at the bottom, as long as you are ready to climb to the top! D
  8. I think it would be best to find a doctor that will help you and be tested. Many of those things can be signs of celiac. It would be so good to see you delivered from that. It would be fun to have someone start blogging and keep blogging beginning before diagnosis, so Keep it up. Please Get better. Test before you stop eating gluten as soon as possible...
  9. I owe a lot to celiac, If it weren't for celiac I would eat like an American: chips, soda pop, and candy until gone, but undiagnosed celiac motivated me to cut out sweets. I learned to eat vegetables, I grew more and more motivated to learn about and use foods to nourish. When I got married I knew how to cook hotdogs, chocolate cake, chocolate...
  10. I now have an oven in my car. We do not allow gluten in the car anymore. I take an electric skillet to hotels and cook (where hopefully nobody else does) after carefully wiping off the table surfaces. . I have developed a way to keep my food hot for (so far) up to 4 1/2 hours. My sweet potato was done to soft perfection after Tuesday's soccer game....
  11. I have a creepy crawly back sensation and it feels really good to me. It feels like the feeling one gets after a message. I haven't yet been able to explain it to a doctor and get an explanation. I do have nerve issues. I read about runner's high and wondered if that could be what I am experiencing. I have never had runner's high as running always devastated...
  12. I ended up banning buckwheat and discovered it was indeed a big problem for me. I am checking my nutrient absorption to check healing. It seems reasonable to me. Great progress has been made the past 7 months!
  13. You can make baked items with nut flour. Even my family is coming to like almond flour muffins and pie crusts. I hope your you and your son will enjoy a healthy life. D
  14. I began my gluten free trek in about May of 2012. I did classic gluten free for a few months and then went grain free. Last November at about 6 months gluten free I had my first nutrient absorption test. In spite of my natural, whole food, organic diet, and many supplements my nutrient levels were low. Especially the Vitamin B levels were unacceptable. I...
  15. SUPER -Sensitive viewpoint which some may not share. I believe they do not worry about cross contamination at all. They don't put use wheat flour in their gluten free pizza recipe. I believe that is all it means. I think a pizza place is a place where flour is everywhere. Flour is in the air and on the work tables, I would never eat there, but personally...
  16. I have played with Mango for sauce and am happy with the results.
  17. My next appointments were for a root canal and fillings. I got through these with no bloating, and no bright red face. I did get a headache, but I think the root canal itself caused that. Too much drilling. Also, the headache didn't appear until the day after.
  18. I hope you will find, or have found the support you need. Also that your loved ones will see it better in the future. God has made so many food. I really like the ones that He made for me to eat. Every time one food becomes taboo, another one or two take their place. D
  19. There is hope. There is relief. I hope you will find it soon. D
  20. I wouldn't worry about it, unless you get a reaction to it. Buckwheat is not related to wheat.
  21. This are interesting pictures. I get the shortness of breath and some interesting swelling lately. I never use to notice, because I was always that way. I didn't have the classic diarrhea symptom- until I went gluten free. Now I react that way when I get gluten. I will be interested to know more about this as you get it out. I am intrigued by the food...
  22. I like my rotational diet so well that I felt disappointed when I heard that it would not have to be forever! I have an eating plan and never have to think about what to make. I just make it.
