Pumpkins were the problem, I am pretty sure by now. I had a battle with some store bought cauliflower, and since I am continuing debloating and feeling reasonably well. I am using SCD diet. I guess for the most part that is what I was doing anyway since I am doing grain free. -
I found a link about vertigo. www.livingwithout.com issues/4/12ataxia2366-1.html?pg2 I couldn't figure out how to get there with the click on information, but I searched the sight for ataxia and found the article. D

My Family Is Recovering From My Celiac
1desperateladysaved posted a blog entry in 1desperateladysaved's Blog
Disclaimer: My reactions are unique and may be more than celiac, therefore not many people would need to panic they will get like reactions. The reactions aren't labeled, so I really don't know why I am having them this way. Please don't panic . Now, My Family Believes Me! In my illness, I would say daily. I am tired. I didn't mean that I over... -
Leaky Gut And Joint Popping/pain
1desperateladysaved replied to spirit-walk's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
My local Jason's Deli warned me against eating there. They didn't put gluten in gluten free items, but they cross contaminate things. It could be different in other branches, but it pays to be safe. D -

I got inflammation/ popping joints from smelling popcorn, I think. The popping took 24 hours to appear. I try not to stress the joints when I am swollen. -

Is it a joint thing? I am not sure why others with popping aren't posting. I think I have heard it before. Do you have arthritis? -

Leaky Gut And Joint Popping/pain
1desperateladysaved replied to spirit-walk's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
My functional medicine physicians try to find out why I am having trouble. Instead of giving me some pill to make my blood pressure low, they try to analyze what is causing it to be high. They use nutritional supplements for what they feel is the root problem I have a doctor formerly associated with Mayo Clinic that has practiced 25 years. Their practice... -
Leaky Gut And Joint Popping/pain
1desperateladysaved replied to spirit-walk's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
I get popping when I have inflammation problems. I believe my inflammation comes from foods I don't tolerate. I have popping problems seldom, but had my family giggling at me trying to do squats and hearing the pops! Have you tried functional Medicine; a doctor we used is osteopathic and functional medicine and he helped my son. I like the functional... -
This year a doctor told me not to eat anywhere but home. My body is acting super-sensitive and I didn't want to rock the boat. I alerted my sister, the hostess, and my brother that I would be unable to eat at the gathering, but would eat on the way there. On the way there I enjoyed my very filling rice and beef casserole. I had planned to do a regular...

Oh, that doesn't sound fun. I hope you can get your diagnosis, or whatever it takes to motivate you. I always like to find and solve the root of my problem and you may be onto something to suspect celiac or gluten intolerance. You need to feel better to do what it takes, you need to do what it takes in order to feel better. It sounds like you have some...

If you have been gluten free a long while and don't seem to be healing, you may want to try a Specific Carbohydrate Diet. This is basically what I have been doing and am healing after 30 years of celiac. D http://scdlifestyle.com/about-the-scd-diet/

It is possible. I bloat up. I am not sure if it is rice itself, or if wheat or corn is in my rice products.

Brain Fog Recovery.
1desperateladysaved replied to jpt2014's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
Did you have your adrenal gland function test. Orthostatic blood pressure can be used to see if these glands are functioning well. My practitioner told me that long term celiac will really tax these little organs. Orthostatic blood pressure is taking the blood pressure while laying down, standing and retaking it. It should rise and then come back down... -
I have just passed through several days of cramping, swelling, and gassiness. All of this as a result of nothing specific that I know of. Perhaps after 19 months gluten free it is just further recovery. Happily, I woke up today without the cramping and felt excellent since. . Previous blood counts, over the passed 5 years, showed immature blood cells...

Brain Fog Recovery.
1desperateladysaved replied to jpt2014's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
OOps, I missed my other answer to this somehow, I hope you won't mind. Brain fog for 30 years and I have been delivered from it. I am about 18 months gluten free. Here is a list of things I have done: prayed for healing. took vitamin and mineral supplements. went gluten free. went grain free. read the forum for instruction and ideas. waited... -
I always think, when using natural means to fight health problems, that any reactions is a good one. Your body is working hard on recovery! Hang in there !

My Friend: Pain!
1desperateladysaved commented on 1desperateladysaved's blog entry in 1desperateladysaved's Blog
I agree the body is able to tell me more distinctly that it doesn't like something than it use to. IT is kind of an AHA moment when I experience bloating (an old thing) along with pings and D some new things. -
Oh, I am going to ask my chiro about this! There are certain nerves running through certain vertebrate of the back. My Atlas keeps coming out and C7 in my neck. I have had this constant since 2010 when I took a trip to foreign lands and ate what I was served. It was before I knew I had celiac disease, but already I ate a simple diet without wheat at home...

Keep on writing, if and when your not too busy enjoying gluten!

Before I diagnosis, I did not feel celiac pain. I would notice my tummy bloating, my legs swelling, and have a pregnant looking belly. I had extreme fatigue and foggy mind, but didn't realize those until it went away one day. I trudged on with these mysterious symptoms that were "All in my head." Wondering in my dreamy state if something possibly was wrong...

Best wishes and hope your gluten challenge will be as light as possible. I hope you will get a firm diagnosis. Keep track of your symptoms and be in touch with your medical provider if the symptoms are severe. D
