Betty Crocker gluten-free Brownies....

....absolutely ROCK! They came out tasting better than any brownie mix I ever made in my non gluten-free days. They were slightly chewy with a nice soft inside, and very chocolately...just the way I like them.

AND, they are made in a dedicated gluten-free facility! Woo hooo!!!

In a taste test among nationally available brownie mixes, gluten and gluten free, it was the winner. I still haven't bought one because it's just too expensive for my taste and I can buy a perfectly delicious mix for half the price or just make brownies with little fuss. But one day if I find it on sale I'll try it.

Glad you finally tried them.  See what you've been missing all this time?  :D  When I made them for the first time I thought....ok....This makes the whole Celiac thing soooooooooo worth it.  :)

This looks dangerous. lol

I read the comments--and I agree about adding some sour cream.

My friend with the G F bakery uses sour cream in all baked goods and it truly makes a difference in the moist factor.

Someone---can you make these--and report back?  ^_^  I am not indulging right now, but I can live vicariously through others.

I shall indulge for you but I need to finish up the blueberry muffins.  There does need to be breaks in between indulgences

Sour Cream Rocks  :D

Their brownies are the best. I've made them and gluten eaters had no idea they were gluten free. Had a cheese cake with the brownie used as the crust. Their yellow cake mix makes a to die for (adult only) armetto cake. I've also used it to make kind of an apple spice cake and topped it cream cheese frosting. Don't care to much for plain yellow cake ( kind of dry).

Have several potluck events a year so have to get creative for desserts to take.
