My daughters 2nd test results

Hiya, my daughter has just had a month on gluten and had her 2nd test results, so would love to get your advice on whether you think she actually has celiacs.  Her doctor said she is convinced she does, so we have now been referred to a paediatrician to get a biopsy.  So if any of you clever people wouldn't mind having a look at her results and saying what you think would be great as I'm finding it all very confusing  (these results were given over the phone, so hopefully they are enough info):

Gliadin peptide - 17.2

tTG IgA AB - 15.4

 IGA - 0.7

Endomysial antidoies - positive.

Thanks, Melissa

Ranges can vary between labs, so to be safe, I'm going to say that because the EMA is positive, it's a positive.  You just need one on the panel to go forward with a GI consult.

I agree! MAKE SURE TO KEEP YOUR DAUGHTER ON GLUTEN UNTIL THE ENDOSCOPY IS DONE!

Thank you both. I haven't had access to the test results but will get them and post here.

The ulcers are prepyloric ulcers. Not sure if that makes any difference.

Duodenal ulcers are not uncommon either and often result from H.Pylori infections. https://www.healthdirect.gov.au/duodenal-ulcer

I had what was termed "lesions," and normally ulcers are in the stomach, rather than the small intestines. I'm not sure why they would want you to have her continue to eat gluten, since she had a positive blood test, but as her doctor said, if she is uncomfortable and having symptoms why not have her go gluten-free at this point? If her symptoms improve, it would be another indicator that she has celiac disease and/or gluten sensitivity. This article has some detailed information on how to be 100% gluten-free, so it may be helpful (be sure to also read the comments section.):
