Hi so resently I had some blood work done on IgA and my results were 229 on a reference range of 47-310. So my question is that basically means negative and I don't have celiac disease right?

The IgA by itself, is not a celiac disease test.  It measures Immunoglobulin A.  When testing for celiac disease, the lab/doctors use this test as a control test.  For example, one of the celiac disease tests is the TTG IgA.  If you do not make IgA (but you do and are in mid-range) then this TTG is not going to work.  Then the doctor would order a TTG IgG test.

You can still have celiac disease, because you did not have any celiac disease tests.  Learn more about the tests:
