Simply Organic Gravy Mixes

Recommended Posts

I just purchased Simply Organic Roasted Turkey Gravy Mix from my local HF store. I thought I've gotten this product before from an online gluten-free store, but I could be mistaken. Anyway, it looked harmless so I bought it. Now I'm reading the ingredients and "Malt Extract" was about the third to the last ingredient on the list. Has anyone tried this product? If it is gluten, I'm looking for a good gravy for turkey or pork and I cannot find any that's gluten-free. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I buy a lot of Pacific Foods products because many/most are Gluten Free!

To Rosebud: Malt Extract is made from Barley and therefore has Gluten! Do not eat!

I make my own gravy from meat juice using corn starch and spices. Works OK for me, but I'm not a huge gravy fan, except for on turkey. Corn starch is what my mother always used for gravy (long before gluten-free days). I discovered that corn starch makes better gravy even for NON-gluten-free people!
