My First Good Day

Rate this topic

Recommended Posts

I've only been on the gluten-free wagon for two weeks, and I hadn't seen any impressive improvements. The first two days weren't bad, but then the last weekend and beginning of the week were awful. It was as bad as ever. And I know it takes time to clean out your system. However...

I am extremely sensitive to what I've eaten and my reactions, so I've noticed that my biggest issues (since getting off wheat) are dairy and nuts. So...today, no nuts and dairy of any kind, and very little soy products (though I don't think that's my issue). I feel GREAT!

So just as an encouragement to those who may be discouraged in the beginning...start playing around with what you eat during the day. I can't get over how much better I felt, and how well things are...ahem...moving through my system. No D or C today!
