Gluten Free Carb Source

Hello,

New to the forums here and a long time celiac sufferer. I am trying to find a good gluten free carb source and wanted to see if anyone could recommend a supplement for this? Thank you for any help.

Not a supplement, but carbs can be found in fresh fruits and vegetables, all of which are naturally gluten free. If you don't have a problem with nightshades, potatoes provide lots of carbohydrates.

Beans, lentils, corn, rice, quinoa, root vegetables (potatoes, yams, beets, etc.), fruits (tree fruits in particular) are all excellent sources of carbohydrates.

If you're looking for something while competing or training, CarbPro is excellent. I'm in the process of adding it to my training now that I'm gluten-free. My boyfriend has used it for longer distance triathlons with a lot of success. I believe that it is gluten free but am in the process of confirming so you would need to do a little investigation before trying it.

For pre/post workout there is nothing like white rice for quick carbs.
