Hmmm. In the past the lack of energy and enthusiasm on my part caused concern among family and friends, but I always seemed to be well grounded in reality. As a teen I was referred to social workers in the belief I was suffering depression, but I now think it was just pain and lack of energy because I wasn't eating gluten-free.- 5 comments

I started eating a lot of mushrooms after seeing they were a great source of selenium, crucial in bone formation/ replenishment, because of stress fractures that would take forever to heal.
