Fabulous flavor - slightly spicy and nicely smoky. http://crockpot365.blogspot.com/2012/10/smoky-turkey-and-black-bean-soup.html I used a big piece of turkey they called a "turkey tenderloin" but you could probably put a turkey breast in, too. Used frozen corn , onion and frozen spinach - didn't thaw...
  3. http://whiteonricecouple.com/recipes/sweet-onion-dip-recipe/ I used Miracle whip instead of the mayo..... Nah! Just kidding! . I used sour cream instead - hub hates Mayo and Mayo- like products so much that he can't walk down that isle in the grocery. It's yummy. It re- heats in the micorwave. And the left- overs cold from the fridge are very very...

  14. I boil my sweet potato for about five minutes first.
  15. So....we are having an appreciation party for the parents and mentors that help constantly with robotics. I have decided to make it a " Dip Party". ( a "dip" - an individual who displays exceptional qualities of utter stupidity and lack of common sense). I'm going to get hummus - a local guy makes it & it save me making everything. I'll make...
  16. You should really have several sizes.
  17. Addy - I saw about the wreck on FB. I felt so bad for that daddy. I also saw your bounty of colorful carrots. My guys don't mind cooked carrots in stew or soup. I bet they would like them roasted. you could roast them and freeze for a quick side dish. Last night for VD, we had cheese and Schar baguette, grapes and brownies with vanilla ice cream...
  18. Sunday night we had chicken enchiladas with a sauce I made from a recipe that was on here somewhere, corn spoon "bread" (more like a souffle) and Spanish Rice. I made the enchiladas in layers because its hard to get them to stay in circles. Last night we had chili. Tonight it is Encores as we have a lot of stuff left. The enchiladas are better...
  19. This has nothing to do with dinner - more a breakfast issue. I got some Enjoy Life Flax cereal. Not much taste but good for you. The cat is very insistent that she should have some. More insistent then she is with ham! And this cat LOVES ham! She comes running if you just open a pack of ham.

  24. Just an FYI - most of these posters haven't been on the forum in a couple of years.
  25. I can eat it and I don't have a problem. I wonder why you think this company wants to hurt people with allergies? What will they gain? But, if you have evidence that. Unilever is lying about ingredients, please provide it to the FDA. They have a way to do that on their website.
