I get a hayfever type reaction when i get glutened, and i also have allergies, so the combo can be brutal. If your allergies seem extra bad, you might be having a gluten reaction while also having allergies. Just a thought!

I've found magnesium seems to help reduce the swelling, while too many carbs or proteins can make it worse. My weather-related allergies get far worse if I eat GMO corn.

I've been gluten-free for almost 2 years now, and this year my spring allergies were much worse than usual. Of course, a lot of others who are not Celiac reported the same--so I don't know if it is just because it's been a bad allergy year, or if I'm not handling it as well.

I guess I'll find out next year!
