How Often Should Companies Be Called

Recommended Posts

How often should I call each manufacturer to double check recipes? I had called about 10 months ago and have been checking lables however I have found that in that time Mrs. Butterworths and Uncle Bens have changed their statements. <_< I also found out that Arm & Hammer Laundry Detergent and Palmolive will not guaruntee gluten free.

TIA

I would call a company when you are not confident in reading labels or verifying natural flavors or spieces. But, again, if wheat is in an ingredient, it must be listed by law.

Many companies put out a CYA statement - even though their product does not contain gluten. You just have to judge one product at a time.

Always read labels.
