Herbatint is a natural product that you can get in health food stores or in Wegmans. When I still colored I loved it. It is produced in Italy and they do have a web site if you want to try it and can't find it. I used the permanent form but they also make temporary veggied dyes (check the gluten statis on those) and some real wild colors for the young or the young at heart.
