  1. No😩. She really didn’t think that there is much chance that celiac is associated with enteropathic spondyloarthropathy at all. She did listen and is checking to see if there is a different autoimmune condition causing my arthritis. So, I could have a whole different problem. Sigh. 😔
  2. I’m just now seeing this post but there is a type of enteropathic arthropathy related to celiac. I think I may have it and am searching for answers. It seems rare and I’m having trouble finding info or physicians that have heard of it. Scheduling an appointment with a rheumatologist. Hope she’s heard of it. 😬
  3. Sure am hoping for good results with this trial .....would love to feel carefree in restaurants. Or, heaven forbid, eat real pizza!
  4. Red Apple lipstick (I don't really like the colors they offer though) Colour Pop is marketed as gluten-free too. They are not too expensive.
  5. Taco Tuesday, baby! It's a thing..... We eat tacos and/or taco salads so much here!. I also make beef and chicken fajita meat and serve it with black beans, rice, guacamole - think homemade Chipotle bowl. Cajun red beans with chicken and sausage - I make it in a crockpot and serve it over rice. Now that it's getting cooler, I have also been making a lot...
  6. Hi Severe- I have 2 thoughts- One is that there are other formulations of SSRI/MAOI. Emsam is a MAOI. It is a class of drug that sounds like you haven't tried before. It is administered through a patch on the skin so no gluten exposure at all! I have a friend who tried a variety of SSRIs over her life and finally found a great response in Emsam...
  7. I agree with cyclinglady. I don't have the same plan for every place we visit. Every place presents it's own challenges, so I spend a lot of time planning meals everywhere we go. My mom is not really a cook and when she does cook, it's rarely with flour. So I use her pots and pans and clean them well. I buy my own sponge, dish towel, cutting board there...
  8. Peanut butter is always my breakfast when I want to stay full for a while. When I am in a rush, I just eat a spoon of peanut butter and a glass of milk with some fruit. When I have a bit more time, I make toast with peanut butter. Cereal doesn't keep me full in general. I know you said you might have trouble with oats (but if you figure out that's not...
  9. I just ate Snack Pack pudding this week. It was labeled "gluten free". I think Jello brand puddings are gluten free as well but I haven't checked for myself... I haven't checked on Hershey's brand, but I thought I'd give you some options.
  10. Did you call the person who put the crown on a couple of months ago? It sounds like a complication from his/her procedure? Maybe you could work a discount/payment plan since this sounds like it was an unexpected outcome? Hope you feel better soon!
  11. The article is interesting theoretically but I am not sold... First of all, the article is clearly biased. Secondly, it is constructed like an academic article might be but it is clearly more of an editorial type piece. Third, there is absolutely no scientific evidence presented in the article. Here's his summary, " ...
  12. Gelu65, I'm so sorry to hear that you are having such a hard time right now. I hope you can find yourself a great family practice doctor or geriatrician - someone that will really listen to you. I don't think it's wrong to try a gluten free diet, but there are many causes of night sweats including thyroid problems, medications, low testosterone, and even...
  13. I was diagnosed recently too and am still looking. I use Aquaphor. I bought some gluten-free lipstick from Whole Foods. Gabriel cosmetics. I don't love the consistency of it but the color was good. Whole Foods has 2-3 brands that are gluten-free and they have a list on their website with what's at your local store. I don't know if there's one near you......
