Lol, this is VERY random, but I needed to share this with someone...

When I was driving, I saw a bird carrying another bird that looked like it in its claws and flying away from crows, trying to attack the bird in the claws :(

Lol, I'm stupid... But seeing this just made me want to cry.... WHYYYY DO I HAVE TO BE SO FREAKING SENSITIVE/EMOTIONAL!?!? Lol.

That sounds so sweet! Probably a young bird. The crows can be soooo mean and attack the baby birds and eggs. I have been known to go after crows and train dogs that like or dont care about birds to chase crows. I know that is just what they are made to do, but they don't have to do it in my yard!

I think you are very sweet to be so concerned, (hey, I cry at the sight of road kill, so I get it)

but Karen is right. It is likely the bird was rescuing it and I am sure they were both fine.

Crows are obnoxious.Loud and rude....and  I shoo them off all the time.

I should train my dogs to chase them away... ha. But it was just so sad cause theres nothing I could do, but I wished I could help. I now hate crows... :/

OMG!  I get all upset over road kill too!  I always feel sorry for the poor whatever that gets killed....especially if it's a deer.  And yes, I do like to eat venison but I don't kill them myself.  I'm such a hypocrite.......

Crows actually chase hawks away and for that reason I like having them in my trees.  Saw them chase away a small hawk that I believe got one of my baby turkeys.  Hawk hasn't been back.  A few days ago I saw (heard, mostly) a crow way up in the sky dogging an eagle that was perusing the open buffet that is my yard full of chickens.

I happily share my chicken treats with the crows. :)

Vitamin A is important for vision health. But be careful in supplementing it as it can lead to toxicity. Research it and consult with your medical professional. I do not have a definite answer to your original question but I was pursuing the possible cause of nutritional deficiency. But your visual deterioration could be unrelated to your celiac disease so don't rule that out.

Currently 19. Doctors think I was 1 year old when celiac started, but I wasn't diagnosed until 18, because they didn't do lab work on minors. I've been on a strict gluten-free diet for 14 months now. For example only certified gluten-free nuts and I've researched best brands a lot. I take B vitamins, vitamin D, vitamin C, Curcumin with black pepper, black sesame and green tea extract, magnesium, iron, and a little selenium and zinc, beef liver capsules. I recently had my vitamin and mineral levels retested and D is the only one I don't have enough of now. I had my eyes tested at 17 and they were good back then.

Not everyone with dermatitis herpetiformis needs to avoid iodine. DH is caused by gluten exposure, but iodine can worsen or trigger flares in a subset of people, especially when the rash is active or not yet controlled by a strict gluten-free diet. Some people react to iodized salt, seaweed, shellfish, or iodine supplements, while others tolerate normal dietary iodine without problems. In most cases, iodine restriction is individualized and often temporary, not a lifelong rule for everyone.

Questions: How old are you now? How long ago were you diagnosed as having celiac disease? Do you practice a strict gluten-free diet? Are you taking vitamin and mineral supplements to offset the nutrient malabsorption issues typical of celiac disease and if so, can you elaborate on what you are taking?

My vision was good as a teen and now has gotten worse in the last year. Could that be caused by my celiac disease?🤓😎🥸👓🕶️
