"shocking" In Stomache?

Has anyone ever felt a "shocking" sort of pain in their stomache? This is how my son describes his stomachache. I don't know what it is or where it's from. He's been gluten-free for about 9 months but still feels this, and it's worrying me.

I get that sometimes, it feels like there is static electricity in your tummy. It hurts. I have no clue what causes it, and my doctor says it's "anxiety" which is basically his answer when he doesn't want to find out what's really wrong with me.

I had been keeping a food diary and found out that on days when I ate what I call "gas veggies" broccoli, cauliflower, ect. that the pains showed up, so maybe it's gas?

I would keep an eye on when they happen and try to find a common thred. (unless you actually have a doctor who cares, then you could ask him about it)

It sounds like it could be gas or constipation, you should have him have an x-ray/CAT scan to see if he is constipated because that can make you feel horrible, and then he might need to go on a low dose of laxatives.
