I added a picture of all the gluten-free pastas from Italy at

http://www.hawaiifruit.net/PRODUCT-CATALOGUE.jpg

Here is the message from Antonio Rotunno.

I can hardly wait to try some of this when I get back!

Another great find at the food show in Japan

Casabe gourmet company from Venezuela!

They make a wide variety of gluten-free crackers, flour and tempura batter mix!

Its all based on the cassava (Manihot esculenta) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cassava

I've tried all the different gluten-free crackers at health food stores in hawaii and these are far better.

Valentina Espinosa is the company president and said she would send me a list of where they are available as there are a few places in North America that have them.

valentinae@casabegourmet.com is her email

Hey Ken

How lucky can you get!!!! I've been trying to get this Italian Co. to the US so we can buy !!!! I am in great need of a box of acini di pepe gluten free for my famous wedding soup!!!!!I haven't had it in five years!!!!! Of course if one was able to get these products in the US I'd buy like crazy..... I hear they are the "real deal" so to speak.

Did you try any yet?

There is another company from Italy that has wonderful crackers but I can't get them here either........

You are so lucky!!!!

They gave me some to bring home but i've not had a chance to try things yet.

may try to cook something up at my friends although i worry about the cc from their kitchen. I will have lots of pictures to upload once I have time.

I know these companies would love to get into the growing US market and just hope we can all find a way to make it happen!

take care
