Hard Candies -help Veterans?

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

Could those who are particularly sensitive and who've found a good hard candy made primarily with sugar, maybe corn syrup-but not high fructose, and little else but flavoring tell me what brands are safe? Are the starlight spearmints and peppermints made by simoncandy ALL safe? I'd just love to suck on a piece of candy every now and then.

Thanks!

lisa

Brachs and Sathers are not necessarily gluten-free. My daughter eats those on occasion and has had no problems with them.

Life Savers, Charms and Jolly Ranchers are all gluten free. I bought my daughter some Yummy Earth peppermint hard candy online (can't remember where), but she hasn't tried them yet. Customers at HSN give them a good rating though and they of allergens plus organic.

These guys make a lot more candy than I thought they did. Some good stuff here:

(second link is where they state that everything they make is gluten-free. Just discovered this and was so excited!!)
