Funny Story

This made me smile:

I've been diagnosed with Celiac and determined that it came from my mother's side of the family (we all have very sensitive stomachs, and everyone's getting tested). My father told my grandmother (his mother who is a little bit off) that I have Celiac and what it is. She didn't call me, but she did send me a really great gluten-free cookbook. When I called to thank her she said, "I also got a copy for myself. I think I have a little bit of the celiac."

Gotta find the humor when you can :)

That is a wonderful story. She probably saw all they symptoms in herself too. I love that. "A little bit of the Celiac." She sounds precious.

October 2012- I learned that I am 1/2 Irish with a strong family history of Gluten Intolerance/Celiacs. I will never know If I am Celiac because I will never eat gluten again in order to test postive, it's poison and I do not ever want to feel the way I felt before implementing the gluten free diet EVER again!!!
