  1. I have one around the same age in my back yard, and it get's pretty limp lately. Hand pumps do nothing.
  2. Make sure you are eating *certified* gluten free oats. Others that are not, can be cross contiminated in the field and processing. And things might settle down after your body has healed a bit. All foods can be irritating.
  3. Add whatever you like. or not.
  4. Every time I go to Wally World, I stock up. It's at the top of my list. My favorite recipe is great and so simple: Saute Shrimp in garlic and butter ( I like lots) Throw in cherry tomatoes Toss in cooked Penne Pasta Toss in two large handfuls of fresh spinach Salt and pepper and top with fresh shaved asiago cheese.
  5. Hello and Welcome! But you have not been gluten free by having wheat wraps and barley enzymes, etc. You might start by having three balances meals a day. And not worry about other food intolerances, at this time. And you might want to cut out the weed. It might increase your resolve toward good health. If you need help with specifics....that...
  6. Well....I would think, until your gut heals a bit, it would be wise to lay off the alcohol for a while. Maybe in a month or so, you may be able to tolerate moderate amounts of gluten free alcohol.
  7. Hello and Welcome! There are no stupid questions here. Begin your diet simply. Shop on the outside of the grocery story and buy fresh veggies and fruits, meats, seafood, rice and potatoes, eggs. Keep aways (for the time being) from any processed foods. And avoid dairy products for a while. (Once you do some healing, they can be reintroduced) ...
  8. I have to say that over the counter, or drug store lipstick has always been a problem for me. You need a microscope to read the ingedience and a chemistry degree to decipher the "language". And I love my lipstick. I'm a Red Apple Fan....I have no association with the company, other than I wish I was a founder.
  9. I guard my Red Apple Lips pretty chose to me.
  10. This is true, although the amount of barley is barely detectable and and well below the level considered safe for people with Celiac Disease to consume. I have had extensive conversations with the company. It is in keeping with Unilevers full disclosure policy. None of the other Lipton Dry Mixes are gluten free - only the Onion.
  11. Thank you for sharing this. This is a recurring question/concern. C heers!
  12. What in the world would make you do such a thing. If you are having problems, PLEASE contact a doctor.
  13. OH...I do love the chicken stories. Uh...I think they are closely related to reality , at times.
  14. I do have many memories from childhood. Growing up into adulthood, I ALWAYS ordered a hot dog with a bun. Did not like pasta because it takes like flour and water (paste) and never aquired the taste for beer. And my one of my earliest memory as a child being ill, was living behind a bakery at my grandparents flat for a summer, I soiled the bed terribly...
  15. It is quite possible with your family history that you have Celiac, or on your way. You have two options before you. One, is to remain on a full gluten diet and be tested for the blood test that Lisa offered. Or, to go gluten free. With improvement on a fully compliant diet, you could consider yourself Non Celiac Gluten Sensitive or with Celiac Disease...
  16. I would suggest you find your local farmer's market. Or donate your extra eggs to your local food bank.
  17. You will need to read lables and also make some judgement calls. The US labeling law is not in place yet, but hopefully soon. Until then, it's voluntary without regulation. Wheat is required, due the allergin law, to be listed. And sometimes you have to deside if a product includes malt or barley. Or call the manufacturer. Certified Gluten...
  18. But...as the OP questioned, did you get sick from eating an Amy's Entree? Fine dining, it's not. It's what it is.
  19. I think to answer your question, you should tell us where you are regarding testing, symptoms, dietary issues and duration. Coffee is gluten free. If you are in an office situation, supply your own coffee. And not too sure your fog and dragging feeling is due to your coffee intake. You might want to keep a food journal for a while.
  20. Nicole, can I send you a copy, or my copy? I apologize...Canadian news does not always filter down to us, or perhaps I should pay more attention.
  21. Ohhhh....it's not so bad. I mean, what frozen entree is other than what it is. It's another option for those who work and/or need something fast.
  22. We all have different degrees of sensitivity for a variety of reasons. I'm really sorry that you got sick. I have eaten Amy's frozen meals for many years and they don't seem to bother me. I assume that you know that the usage of the term "Gluten Free" is strictly voluntary in the US, at this time. As is the allergin warming. In listing this information...
  23. Nope, that wasn't me.....yet.
  24. When my order arrives, a small sample of another color accompanies the package. It's a great company to deal with. And you can find the new colors available on their facebook page.
