I just ordered several of the most questionable flavored coffees from christophebean, and will be testing them when they come in, my results are not lab level and it is a high tannin based product which could throw off the results but I will try testing the grounds regardless for the, french toast, chocolate doughnut, and a few others using both a EZ-Strip...

Out of the 7 companies I contacted about gluten in the flavored coffees, 3 got back to me saying not to use their products. As mentioned across line contamination with packing when a company does flavored blends is a huge cause for concern with these especially the K-cups. ON a side note ChristopherBeanCoffee just assured me their coffee is safe and...

Well I am off to search for some more coffee, this has a interesting thing I would love to check. I am going to find flavored coffees in K-cups and ground. I am going to check with several companies and see if I track down some gluten free ones. Lets face it a chance at indulging in the forbidden flavors we can not have in a gluten free beverage form does...

He actually has a point on the coffee concern, with all the "Artisan" coffees and flavored blends out there now days, ESPECIALLY if you get preground where they use the same burr grinder. OR god forbid you use the bulk beans and grinder at a grocery store. You have a high chance for CC with gluten. I have mentioned this over the years but I HAVE gotten...

I have been CCed by coffee from a local blend where they used toasted barely ground in with the grounds to give it a desert flavor. I use FreshRoastedCoffee now days just fine with now issues and get a low acid one like sumatra. Your issue might stem from a contaminated machine or coffee mug more then the coffee being contaminated. Or you might be reacting...

Only found d 2 in the area that will work with my current complications. They did not mention payment plans will double check with this. I have no issues with tarter etc. I do not consume sugars, I brush a hour after each meal and mouth wash (you supposed to wait a bit after eating I was told or you could damage your teeth) Just for some odd reason...

Update, black area on x rays, I need to get a root canal. Can not afford the $920 and I shopped around and did my research with coverage options and financing. Pain is the tooth is capped and it raises even the best options prices and limits who will work on it. Ran out of anti biotics infection came back a week later I am making do with the same stuff...

We always say check the ingredients, even if it used to be gluten-free manufactures constantly change the recipe and you have to check the ingredient list on foods to be sure. I think that might be the case of why you find the product on the suitable list. Here in the US anything with barley extract or barley malt is not considered gluten-free. We have had...

Ugg, tell me about I thought I had bad gut bacteria for years. Carbs would just make be bloat and distend, sugars, rice, any kind of grain. Figured out in Feb, it was UC and that the sugars in carbs caused flare ups....I realize I am blessed I can nuts, I eat nut based breads, muffins, cakes etc, using stevia, monk fruit, and xylitol for sweeteners since...

Since my new diet change due to the UC and complete keto I feel great so much energy and a clear mind. I started working on a new business idea, I have always dreamed of the culinary arts and doing a full on kitchen or restaurant. But made due to the cottage home bakery and selling Artisan Almond butters and baked goods at the farmers markets. I wish to...

These can be sourced from various ingredients one being wheat. Please check with the manufacture of your products to figure out if they contain gluten or how they are made....and yes gluten in your makeup, and especially lotion, shower gel, etc is a huge issues. Consider this, gluten contamination can happen from gluten protein residue. How often would you...

I will say what everyone else says and get tested again with the endoscope and biopsy to confirm, you will need to be on gluten for 12 weeks for blood test 2 weeks for endoscope at least a slice of bead a day. The thing about celiac is many symptoms can be quite minor, hell even before I had my MAJOR symptoms show I had some of the other issues show...

Update going in next week for xrays, The pus is gone now, it just drains clear fluid and blood now, no lancing just gets a tad bit of pressure pain and when I rub above the gums under my nose it just drains out that little spot that used to have the pimple like thing seems to be a duct for draining now. I have also incorporated using a hydrogen peroxide...

Gatorade?
Ennis-TX replied to Jherm21's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
You will be better off with coconut water here. A blend of bioflovoids, vitamin C, Magnesium, and potassium will do wonders with your circulation and coconut water is naturally high in electrolytes. I used to drink it before my issues with sugars started last year. Since then I had to start taking them all in different form without the sugars. Funny thing... -
So on the amoxicillin 500mg twice a like I thought. Started last night and it did not have pus this morning. Supposed to be on this for a week then go back in for an assessment. Hopefully I do not need a root canal or anything lo!. I could not afford it. On a side note noticed some side effects, joint pain today, frequent bowl movements, and thirsty...

So I have a small infection in my gums seems to be way up there under my right nostril. I feel a tiny bit of pressure when i press there. Now it forms a white head above my right front incisor in my mouth about 1/8" above my gum line and is on the tooth where I had a crown put in few months ago. I lance it daily and apply pressure from just inside my nostril...

Strange taste?
Ennis-TX replied to PA4637's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
I have never heard of this but funny thing about children and humans, sometimes we tend to develop a defense mechanism to foods where we find them distasteful if they are bad for us or cause a negative body reaction. It could be her body telling her not to eat it cause it is hurting her. It could also be a initial immune response in the mouth, or there are... -
On the topic of eating more after healing. I was always hungry, I recently changed over to a ketogenic diet of just fats and protein pretty much eliminating all grains, fruits, and starchy carbs. My urges to binge eat have gone away with a much higher fat intake. And I seem to have limitless energy....like my workouts to try to build up weight now, I never...

Amusingly it is a grain free recipe based on a combination of ideas from my cauliflower pizza crust where I used melted cheese in the dough, and my cinnamon cake idea of using a combination of coconut and almond flour for a base, I found I could apple sauce as a binder to keep it moist and avoid making it too crunchy and then learned if you use butter flavored...

Mushrooms hit and miss
Ennis-TX replied to Ennis-TX's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
I actually looked into growing my own, I hear they grow GREAT on coffee grounds. Issues is all starting seeds, and spore batches EVERYWHERE are on rye, wheat, and barely seeds. LITERALLY, the standard for growing them is planting the spores on gluten containing grains. Check yourself on this, while mentioned in several articles the gluten protein is not in... -
Mushrooms hit and miss
Ennis-TX replied to Ennis-TX's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
Yeah but it does explain my slight reactions I get randomly from those two foods. Wish there was a very well documented lab study. You know like 10-20 different brands testing 1 batch per week over the period of 12 months recording the gluten content to the PPM and posting it. Also a varied control of doing it twice once with washed once with unwashed. ... -
Always had a slight fear of diabetes myself due to my nerve issues was first thought by doctors to be diabetes. I will tell you something that I did for another reason that slammed that thought. I got a glucose monitor kit for like $14 for everything. And started checking my blood sugar for a few days making record of meals snacks, moods etc. IT did show...

Excruciating Back and Chest Pain from CC
Ennis-TX replied to Onepercenter's topic in Super Sensitive People
My symptoms where mostly gastric and quite mild, just random puking, 5-7day constipation, and extreme fatigue before a huge drinking binge that caused to become much worst with gluten then triggering neurological and nervous system issues where my system would also attack my nervous system, brain, etc. afterward. And the gastric issues then flared to hell... -
I really enjoy mushrooms, using upside down portabello in my bagel bite sub recipe, sauted in nutiva butter flavored coconut oil then served over salads, no carb gluten-free noodle dishes, and pureed into a broth for a stew/soup. Sometimes just snack on them even. But it has always been hit and miss, like sometimes I get glutened sometimes not, they...

What kind of prices you get on the 5lb bags, and top it off with shipping how much would you charge me lol. I get about 4months out of a 5lb bag for $95-$98 total. PS Julian bakery has recently come out with a beef protein isolate bar that is gluten, soy, dairy, and Pea protein free. Bar is Paleo so no legumes, grains, etc. Also they have Pegan bars or...
